For this massive two-day photo and video shoot, I not only crafted the creative direction but also ensured every element came together to tell a compelling and cohesive story. From pre-production planning to final edits, I orchestrated every detail to exceed client expectations while staying ahead of schedule and under budget. This multi-faceted project spanned eight locations, captured sunrise shots for specific narrative needs, and resulted in stunning visuals that elevated the client’s brand.
With a focus on storytelling, I re-wrote the script, developed the storyboard, and oversaw the shoot with precision. By working closely with talent, vendors, and clients, I ensured the experience was productive and enjoyable for everyone involved, culminating in a polished final product that delighted the client and solidified future opportunities.

Re-Defining a longstanding community.
This two-day shoot demanded extensive preparation and hands-on management to capture both photo and video assets that aligned with the client’s creative goals. I took ownership of the entire creative process, starting with script revisions and storyboard development to ensure the narrative was clear and impactful. I cast and organized talent, selected wardrobe and makeup looks, and assigned roles for each scene. On-site, I directed every aspect of the shoot—from framing hero images to coordinating drone footage for added versatility in the client’s asset library.
The production spanned eight distinct locations within a 15-mile radius, requiring detailed scheduling to capture critical sunrise shots and maximize natural lighting. Despite the complex logistics, the shoot ran ahead of schedule. Post-production, I selected the perfect music to complement the video’s emotional tone and directed voice-over talent to bring the story to life. The result was an exceptional suite of assets that met the client’s immediate needs and provided a robust foundation for future campaigns.
Outcomes
The success of this project was a testament to collaborative leadership and meticulous attention to detail. Vendors reached out post-shoot to express gratitude for the smooth, inclusive, and supportive environment I fostered on set. Talent remained in high spirits throughout, even enduring extreme heat on the second day, thanks to thoughtful planning and on-site support. When the client visited the set, they were thrilled by the quality of the work being captured and expressed immense satisfaction with the final deliverables.
The overwhelmingly positive reception secured another retention year for the agency, with additional shoots scheduled for the upcoming year.
